Yes, a common misconception is that hypnosis involves losing control or being unconscious. In reality, hypnosis is a state of focused relaxation where you remain fully aware and in control. It is a safe and natural way to access deeper parts of your mind for healing and insight.

No, clients cannot get stuck in hypnosis. Hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention and relaxation, and clients remain in control throughout the session. They can come out of hypnosis whenever they choose, being guided safely back to full awareness.

No, therapeutic hypnosis is very different from stage hypnosis. In a clinical setting, you are always in control and will not be made to do anything against your will. Stage hypnosis is designed for entertainment and often involves willing participants who are more open to suggestion. In a therapeutic session, the focus is on your well-being and achieving your personal goals in a safe and supportive environment.

Hypnosis can enhance neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to form new neural connections. By entering a focused and relaxed state during hypnosis, the brain becomes more open to new suggestions and ways of thinking, which helps create and strengthen new neural pathways. This process can support positive changes in behavior and thought patterns.

Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a trance-like state of focused attention and heightened suggestibility, often accompanied by deep relaxation. During hypnosis, a person is more open to suggestions, which can be used for therapeutic purposes, such as reducing stress, managing pain, or changing certain behaviors. The process involves guiding the individual into a relaxed state where they can access their subconscious mind more easily.

Past Life Regression

Past life regression is a specific type of hypnosis that aims to explore memories of past lives. Practitioners of past life regression believe that by accessing these memories, individuals can uncover and heal traumas or unresolved issues from previous lifetimes that may be affecting their current life.

Key Differences

Purpose:

  • Hypnosis: Used for a variety of therapeutic purposes, such as behavior modification, stress reduction, and pain management.
  • Past Life Regression: Specifically aims to explore and heal issues believed to stem from past lives.

  1. Belief System:
    • Hypnosis: Does not require any specific belief system; it is a psychological technique.
    • Past Life Regression: Often involves a belief in reincarnation and the continuity of the soul across different lifetimes.

  1. Application:
    • Hypnosis: Can be used for a wide range of issues, including phobias, smoking cessation, and weight loss.
    • Past Life Regression: Focuses on uncovering and resolving past life experiences that may influence the present.

Past life regression can be a unique experience for each individual, and results may vary. It's important to approach this journey with patience and an open mind. Remember that the mind works in mysterious ways, and the process of accessing past life memories can be influenced by various factors such as relaxation, focus, and personal readiness. So I would prefer to have at least 3 hours set aside for each client’s session.

1. Engage in meditation, deep breathing exercises, or yoga. These activities can help achieve a relaxed state of mind, essential for the session.

2. Dream Journaling: Keep a journal to note down any experiences, thoughts, or feelings in your dreams experienced in the week(s) leading up to the session. Even if the dream is only a flash of images or a jumble of emotions, add it to the journal. This can help you become more aware of the subconscious mind and any patterns or themes that may arise.

***Feel free to bring your journal with you to write down your experiences afterwards!***

3. Monitor Lifestyle Choices: Stay hydrated, and get adequate sleep. Limiting caffeine intake, especially the day before the session, can help in maintaining a clear and relaxed mind.

4. Set Intentions: Set clear intentions for the session. Writing down what is hoped to be achieved or understood from the regression can help focus the mind and energy.

5. Limit Stress: Minimize stressful situations and take time for self-care. Engaging in simple enjoyable activities can help keep the mind in a positive state.

6. Positive Affirmations: Repeat positive affirmations related to openness and receptivity. Phrases like “I am open to receiving insights from my past” can reinforce a positive mindset.

7. Learn About the Process:  Research or ask about what to expect during the session. Understanding the process can reduce any anxiety or fear.

8. Visualization: Practice visualization techniques, imagining being in a calm and peaceful place. This can make it easier to enter a relaxed state during the session.

9. Listening to Music with Positive Lyrics: Listen to music with uplifting and positive lyrics. This can help elevate mood and promote a sense of well-being.

Taking the time to do these self care preparations can help prepare you mentally, emotionally, and physically for you session.

No, you do not need to follow any specific diet but it’s best to eat light the day of the session.

  • Visualizations: You may see vivid images and scenes from different places, eras, or significant moments from past lifetimes.
  • Physical Sensations: You might feel tingling, warmth, coolness, or a sense of floating. These sensations are unique to each person.
  • Emotions: Expect a range of emotions like joy, love, sadness, fear, or déjà vu. Embracing these emotions aids in healing and understanding.
  • Memories: Detailed memories from past lives may resurface, offering insights into your current life patterns, relationships, talents, fears, and growth opportunities.
  • Spiritual Connection: You’ll connect with your higher self, feeling a shift in awareness. This sacred space allows you to be present with yourself, sensing a gentle presence or hearing a soft inner voice.
  • Time Perception: Time may feel distorted, passing quickly or stretching out. Be open to experiencing time nonlinearly.

  • Reduces Stress: Reiki promotes relaxation and helps alleviate stress.
  • Eases Pain: It can help reduce pain and discomfort.
  • Boosts Mood: Reiki can improve your overall mood and emotional well-being.
  • Enhances Healing: It supports the body’s natural healing processes.
  • Improves Sleep: Many people find that Reiki helps them sleep better.

Everyone responds differently. It is recommended that clients take the time to reflect on how they are feeling and the changes they may have experienced following a session. Clients should drink plenty of water, get enough rest, and practice self-care as needed in order to help them stay grounded and connected.

Every person is unique, experiencing the healing results can vary, for some, the experience is immediate while for others, it may take more time to fully process the healing, depending on the individual’s energy and current state of wellbeing.

Before a session, it's important to be well-hydrated and have a light meal. Avoid consuming alcohol or any other substances that may alter your state of consciousness. It's also helpful to come with an open mind and willingness to engage in the healing process. After the session, give yourself time to rest and integrate the healing experience. Drink plenty of water, eat nourishing food, and avoid strenuous activities for at least 24 hours. It's completely normal to experience a range of emotions or physical sensations after the session, so be gentle with yourself and reach out if you have any concerns or questions.

It is best to avoid overstimulation or stressful activities for the remainder of the day. Remember your body may be releasing energetic blockages or toxins and thereby needs extra energy to keep the body at it’s optimal performance.

  • What is my purpose?
  • Why did this happen in my life?
  • Should I change my career?
  • Why did I choose my family?
  • What is my soul contract in this life?
  • Am I a Star Seed?
  • How can I heal my health condition?
  • What are the lessons I need to learn in this lifetime?
  • What are my gifts and talents?
  • How can I improve my relationships?
  • What is the origin of my fears or phobias?

These are just some examples of the questions you can ask during a QHHT session. You can also ask about anything that is important or relevant to you, such as metaphysical topics, spiritual guides, past life connections, future possibilities.

However, it is advisable to avoid asking yes or no questions, or questions that imply a lack of free will. Instead, you can ask open-ended questions that allow for more exploration and guidance from your higher self. You can also ask for the pros and cons of a situation, or what you are meant to learn from it.

You can prepare a list of up to 20 questions before your session, and discuss them with your QHHT practitioner. They will help you refine your questions and make sure they are clear and appropriate for your session.
